I have a buddy that is swapping a 12V out of a 93 into a CC Dually Chevy. Very sweet! Here are some pics... Truck is in AWESOME shape! And the install looks factory! He has it moving under its own power and has some loose ends to tie up. Then it's time to turn it up!

That is one sharp looking truck, and from the pics the swap looks pretty clean. -

looks good . i was on the fence on building an eighties crew cab chev 4x4 with a cummins or doing the dodge crew cab . just wanted to do something different may regret it. i have had most of that era chevs torn down and together several times so wrenching on them is second nature and surplus parts are plentiful and cheap. again nice work hope my dodge looks as factory as this build up does. -

Video of its first pull... Which was also the first day on the road. The guy ran too high a gear and it kinda fell on it's face but pulled okay.

What tanny did he use? Im assuiming a manual? How bout other special stuff or fabrication? I dont suppose u/he has any pictures of the motor mounts? If im a lucky little boy i will be acquiring an 85 GMC 4x4 dually. N a cummins conversion may be in order if I can get the adapter for a Cummins/4L80E driveline. :pc: -

He's got a getrag in it. He tore it up flat towin it to it's 2nd pull (jumped into gear). He told me he was gonna put something billet in it, but I can't remember, the beer had a good hold on me that day -
