Default p pump help

hi, I am new to this forum and have an 84 gmc that I am currently in the process of building an 01 24v motor for and am looking into a p pump conversion to possibly keep the wiring down? What will be needed as far as electronics for this motor besides gauges to get it up and going. I am also tossing the idea of a built automatic around which I believe I should be able to get a stand alone unit for. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

get a 47rh then you wont need any electronics you can use a manual od or hook up a pressure switch for od there is a port on pass side

the money you save buying the controller put into the trans for upgrades

ok thanks any ideas on what wiring will be needed on the motor? I am assuming that being a mechanical injection pump it will not need really anything to run, am I correct?

If you p-pump your truck all you will need to run is 12v to the pump. IIRC its the same thing as the old VE. 12v opens a shutoff solenoid allowing fuel from the delivery pump to the injection pump. That and the wires to the starter
