ok i had a full perfromance tranny rebuild and now that it is cold it shifts in and out of 4th gear a couple of times before it stays in. I brought it back to the place that rebuilt it they plugged it in and they say its not the tranny its the temp sensor, but not the one on the drivers side back of the head. Got the part and everything but dont know where it goes. And its not the air intake sensor. Searching for months cants find anything. Please HELP!! Dont wont to wreck something again!?!

 

I don't know if yours is the same as our 92 or not but on the 92 there is a temp sensor in one of the tranny cooler lines beside the tranny. If it goes bad the ecm gets confused and won't always go into OD. That might be the one they are talking about.
