well im pretty shure john has 2 .45's on the good ole lever action and the other straped to his hip, and have you ever seen what happens when you shoot john wayne (as demonstrated in Eldorado) he gits shot and then proceedes to kill 12 more people....

this really is a tough one. i'd say clint would have the upper hand in a hand to hand battle but i'd have to give it to the duke in a shoot out....... hmmmm...... i say clint FTW.

If we are talking about when these guys were in their prime - I hgate to say it, but I would have to go with VanDamm. Watch his first movie, Bloodsport. I know its just a movie but I dont think Segal could have even got ahold of VanDamm, which is pretty important with the style that Segal practices. That being said, Steven Segal is a true Martial Artist and is no joke. He was studying Aikido in Japan when he was 16 or 17, and was one of the first white guys ever to open a dojo in Japan. i thought Van Damme 's 1st movie was universal soldier?
