Default Help with 99 clutch system!

So I just replaced my clutch in my 99 cummins, but while installing everything my buddy forgot to put the push rod in the slave cylinder and lost all pressure in my clutch pedal... trying to get it to work without buying a whole new system, what can I do to make it work? Really want to get the truck running... Thanks ahead of time

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Want to get my truck fixed today so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated

So I replaced the slave cylinder just like it said to do and primed it till full, but my clutch engages right on the floor... and disengages like an inch off the floor, what can I do to fix this?

I cheated on mine and used a vacuum pump to collapse the bladder in my cap before I screwed it on, and got rid of that problem, and she has been fine for several months now.

screw the lid on all the way, then use the hole in the lid, suck all the air out of the bladder with the vacuum pump, crack the lid to let air into the res, and screw the lid back on. not sayin' it will work, but it did for me.
