Default good torque converter

im about to rebuild trans in my 99 2500 its a auto im going to be using the ats master trans kit but not sure what tc to buy have a baby on way & don't wanna spend a lot like I used to but I also don't want a turd either anybody got a tc theyd recommend for say 650 or less

I would look for a billet TC one less thing to break (easily). I googled them there seem to be a few for about the $600 mark.

was bit of joke but instead of lifting like used to going add steps for fiance and build for mpg and keep muffler on it instead of straight pipe

AHH, I was just curious never heard someone use the term when Modding a vehicle. Gotcha now Quiet so it doesnt push the nag button, and good MPG so you dont have to listen to how much you are spending in fuel

I have a 2001 Ram 2500 Cummings and put the BD Banks triple lock torque converter in it, love it for towing my 5th wheel trailer, locks up good and never searches for the gear to be in, getting 17 mpg towing 11,400 pound trailer and without the trailer getting 20 mpg.
