Alright first things first my torque converter is going out. I was wondering what brand some people are running? I'm looking at maybe a triple disk from Suncoast but I was told by my buddies dad he recommended a Recon double disk or they did have a triple disk at his shop he uses. Any recommendations or brands people have been having troubles with?

With that being the main question heres something else. I am looking to possibly just rebuild the tranny while its out too. I've been wanting to do more performance mods but have held back due to still having a stock transmission but now that my converter is failing i believe its possibly time. What would you do in this situation?

I did look and price out all billet shafts, flex plate, converter, and trans "performance" rebuild kit from Suncoast and it was around 4800.

Performance Mods I'd like to do are: Tap the pump with a Comp Box, 150hp Injectors, Fire Ring and Stud the Head, Possible Twins down the road. On top of what slight mods i have in my signature.
