I have a 2002 dodge 2500 cummins with 230,000 miles. My truck used to smoke some when I was pulling a trailer or going up a good sized incline. But now it doesn't smoke at all just one puff at start up and then nothin. no matter how heavy of a load. I replaced the IP 3 years ago, put on the fass lift pump and a small power puck chip. and it smoked the same after all that, then about 6 months ago it started to smoke less and less now nothing. people tell me that It could be to lean and cause damage. is this true. and why would it do this.... ive never had a diesel smoke less. but i still got power, get 23MPG and always starts
