1993 dodge cummins 12v hard to start
hey i just got a dodge cummins 12v ve motor its a 93 it seems to run great and all. most times just half a turn and it fires right up but some times it just cranks and cranks and nothing seems to happen, unless i hold it to the floor and it some times will just fire up or kill my battery trying to fire up. it seems to happen on hills more but some times on flat to im not sure what to think put a new filter on it and a new lift pump but still dose the same stuff what els could it be ? it has 260 km on it and no blow by ???? any help would be great thanks guys its making my 6.0 look more reliable at this point

Air in the lines most likely. Next time it sits for a bit, unscrew the bleeder valve in the fuel system and prime the lift pump and see if air comes out of it. It should start up easy after you've primed it. (close the bleeder valve before starting)
Could also try bleeding the injector lines once you've started it up.
