93 4x4 727 trouble

Hey everybody! im new!!!
and im trying to figure out if the 727 from a gas truck or ram charger is compatible with my 93 diesel 4x4 ?? does anyone know ?? thanks for looking

The gas 727 has a different bellhousing pattern than the 727 for the diesels.

Thanks i ended up finding out its an entirely different transmission anyway. 46rh aka 518, its getting rebuilt!

What I have been told, the 46rh is different than the a518, according to cougar that chimes in quite often. Knowledgable fella.

Thanks for the info! i took it in for rebuild, i had no luck finding a used transmission anywhere! 1600$ later with a 1700 stall torque converter! she will be done soon!
