I have this 87 chevy truck with a 12 valve conversion and I dont know where the engine came from or what was previously done to the engine. All the parts I end up getting for a 91 dodge dont fit, the ones that do interchange to a peice of equipment or bus. So I dont know if I can turn the fuel up the same as a pickup or even if the fuel has already been turned up. The cover is off of the screw but the lock is still on... I just dont want a runaway...I already spun the fuel pin but when I tried to turn down the star wheel it only turned 3/4 of a turn and bottomed out so I put it back where it was and also left the smoke screw alone. So my question is what should I do about starwheel and smoke screw and should I just take the lock off the fuel and turn it in 3 turns and see what happens?

Look in th sticky man, it has a link on how to do it. But Take the intakr off, get a good 2x4, take full fuel screw out, the the nit off, screw it back in, start truck, get buddie wife or whoever to hold the board. Now rev it up and if it runs away get buddie, wife or who ever to put board in front of turbo intake to kill it and adjust the screw accordingly :beer::thumbup:
