Boost is directly related to fuel more fuel=more boost if it stops at 27 or 30 then you're only providing enough fuel for 27 to 30 psi

Assuming that you're not putting much fuel to it no 27 to 30 psi is a good range to stick in I think I can push my 35/40 way past that but it doesn't help

my truck when i first started getting into it had just a plate forward, star wheel and boost elbow and it would peg out at about 38 and you have injectors so i would think you should push more or close to as much boost as i did. maybe its the 12 plate. im not sure what mine was but i think a 4 or 5.

A 12 isn't much more then stock and the injectors only put out as much fuel as they're given so if they don't get much they can't spray much

Just run with no plate you'll get plenty of fuel

if you turned the screw in all the way your turning down the boost.
leave it out for maximum. or just plugg the wastegate
