Had a BD on "Tiny", and loved it for over 10 years. About a year ago, however, the pivot pin on the "butterfly" valve seized up, in about the 1/3 closed position. :-( limited my boost pretty badly, would have required a replacement for whatever number of 100's of dollars, so, I just had the guy torch the butterfly out of the housing and reinstall it. I kind of miss it, though, and will probably get another someday, .... unless the prickiness mentioned upstream is accurate

Hi Hector,

I appreciate you taking the time to work with me, and sadly everything we've tried up to this point still isn't slowing the truck down, but confident we will find resolution..

Last test, you suggested I shorten the actuator rod throw length which I did, and got exactly 20PSI @ idle, but only 35psi at 2700RPM instead of the 60 you mentioned we needed.. Then once engine and system warmed up, that 20psi at idle jumped to 35 again,, and I was very confident during our last phone conversation when you mentioned both idle and high rpm were excessively high that the valves were floating and once reduced pressure were achieved we should notice a difference.. man I was stoked, figuring once I opened that butterfly up a bit more, it was going to work, and on my 45 minute ride home, it was only slightly disappointing things were no better...

I called your office this past Friday and receptionist told me you were at the Sema show..

Hoping we can get this 2nd gen 12 valve working right because I have in my fleet 3-2014 F250 6.7 scorpions and a 02' dodge 24V cummins that could use brakes also, and would love to have BD's systems in them also..

Call me when you have time Hector, thank you
