Default need more horsepower and want some smoke

I want some more horsepower but don't really have a lot of money to do so because I have a little one on the way but was hoping that someone could help me out. And go..

Well .. give us a run down on what u have ?

auto/manual, 4x4/2wd ? 3/4 ton 1 ton ?

tell us all about ur truck so we can better give you info that's useful... also what are you doing with your truck ? towing , haulin butts, stip ?

smoke aint power, so get that idea quickly out of your head. some smoke yes but plooms of black is nothing but wasted fuel. buy a cheap ebay fuel plate kit of your choice that comes with a boost elbow and set where you please. first and for most get gauges. tune the afc, mod the afc, and bam you have some more power. check out the beginners thread to get an idea of whats available and give us a final outcome you want for the truck, if you are serious about 600 horse or something buying lower horse power mod parts is a waste of money and time and money can be spent else where. its not hard to make 400hp to the wheels with around 2500-3000$ but at that point your trans is now your weak point. start reading and reaseaching
