Default Leaking head studs ??

So I recently changed out heads and got a brand new one with o rings cut in it. Upon arrival I checked the ring protrusion and it was within what is recommended. I cleaned the block for 6 hours slapped the new cummins gasket on and arp 425 studs followed the torque instructions did a warm up and re torqued I was cruising around today and stopped at the house thought I would pop the hood to check everything out. Well I noticed fluid coming up from around the threads on my studs ? It is only on three of the studs the medium length bolts in between the short and long ones I am starting to think I have a head gasket problem ?? Any help would be appreciated thank you. Also I forgot to add no water in my oil or vice versa and no smoke issues

Did you check to make sure none of the stud holes went into the water jacket? That's the only real thing I could think of. I'd say continue to drive and check levels and such. Make sure to check head torque cold.

You should have applied thread locker/sealant ... just for that reason ...

You can how ever drain your block again and pull each stud one at a time and seal them one at a time ...

I didn't have to with myn. Checked every stud hole with a pick and visually and say none that protruded but in the instructions it says if any do to put sealant on them. But he's right. Pull each one, get arp sealant and you should be good. If that is Infact the problem.

I will be using Loc-tite Red .. as I dont intend on pulling the engine apart .. and it will seal it up just fine

.. BUT with that said .. each hole will need to be cleaned and chased to ensure cleanliness.. then use brake clean, and air to make sure till its clean and dry of all oil ..
