hey guys went to cummins yesterday and got a filter they gave me a lf3894 stratapore is this the right one for a 96 12v on genos its under a 24v 2nd gen.

THat is a good oil filter. And, yes it will fit your 12v. It will fit 87-2002 cummins.

ok thanks yes i read up it was the best filter then i started to noticed some sites just sell it for a 24 valve. But i hear all the same just stronger can for cold starts. I just didnt know if there was any difference inside thanks.

some people are saying it wont work now and i need to run the lf3552 what do you think im confused .
