Dont mean to thread jack, but i noticed some of the big power output programmers suggest NOT to use the top stage for towing... So i assume that goes double for hammering it while pulling a sled? What programmer do you all suggest?
What kind of parts do you suggest to keep from killing the truck? (torque converter, drive shaft joints, etc?)
I plan on building my own dual exhaust, i would love to go stacks but im afraid the drone of DD the truck with kids in it would deafen them.

i u plan to sled pull alot with your truck, u might wanna go ahead with stacks, cause alot of places make you have the exhaust facing upwards. it all depends on what u wanna do and how u wanna place in your pull. power if u wanna try to win, then go all out with the biggest tuner stacked and big injecters, if u wanna try to win. a tripple disc TC will make a big difference, in any powerlevel and driving condition.

Most the programmers recommend that because of high EGT's and extra stress on trannys, Sled pulling is VERY hard on parts and a stock clutch or tranny wont last very long with a good program. I think for pulling with an auto a Converter, VB, Billet input shaft and all the safety gear is needed very badly.
