these are made from 1.750 soild aluminum and feature lazer cut and cnc bent frame and axle brackets as well as poly "ballistic joints" from ballistic fab and are threded right and left hand for easy length adjustment and are hexed on each end for a 1-1/2" wrench

all will be built after the order is placed and because they are application specific price will depend on application, the set featured are for a quad cab short bed 3rd gen but also fit a 2nd gen reg cab long bed.

sizes range from 48"-96" in aluminum mild steel and stainless steel also soild hex material or fluted round stock

also a note for drag racers the 60" bars pictured above are only around 5 lbs each for the bar alone...in fact the ballistic joints make up allmost 50% of the total weight

Dustin can i get a pm on a price for these for my truck? an im guessing weld on only no bolt on? this will be for a 3rd gen quad cab short bed as well an 60"

Doug,

Yes they are weld on only but the frame brackets are slightly wider then the frame so it would be possible to make them bolt on by adding a plate to the bracket. The axle brackets could be changed for a set that would replace the bottom ubolt plate.

48" - $600
60" - $650
80" - $700
96" - $750

making any of the above bolt on would add around $50

:c:

update, we put the bars on a scale tonight and they come in at 27lbs per side for the entire kit, each 60" bar alone weighs 13lbs

are the aluminum going to be able to handle the pressures? looks very good though man

Since they are solid I think so but we have not tested them on a puller yet. I know they wont bend or break it will be more about the amount of flex they have. I will be running them on ojr 2.6 truck.

sharp, any chance on bolt on units?

cummin_un_glued 10-13-2011 10:45 AM

Yes it can be done for 50 bucks more and the bracke gussets would come fully tig welded in that case.
