35s on a stock 3rd gen 4x4
my buddy has a 2005 ho longbed cummins and i have a lead on some hummer wheels wraped with 35s and i think they will fit on his truck w/o a leveling kit for now he doesnt think so minimal rubing would be ok let me know if its possible
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- also i have fit 35s with no modification on a 2nd gen this is what makes me think its possible |
I have a 3rd gen.. I ran 35's on stock wheels, which have more (or less) whatever backspacing on the wheels. I had no problems, except it rubbed the lower control arms at full lock. Didn't bother me enough to change it until I needed new tires. When I bought new tires, I went with 315/70/17's on the same stock rims, and I have no rubbing issues.

i'm sure you will rub, just becareful not to hit a hard bump while turning and it will be fine :tu: can also use the "self-clearing" meathod :w2: haha
