315's on a 2nd gen dodge with leveling kit?
I have an opportunity to get a set of 315/75/16 BFG at's from a guy I know for a pretty fair price, but as I am only running 285/75/16 right now, I am not sure if they will work without rubbing. I have 16x8 Ion 171 series wheels. Thanks.

315/75/16 will work with a leveling kit as long as it has as much or more back spacing as the stock 2nd gen rims. :tu:

Yea, they sit out a little farther than the stock wheels, make a heck of a mess in less than perfect weather!
|
then they will fit just fine :tu: take some pics when ya get the new tires on :rocking:

I'm runnin the same setup.

That's what I run, I love them!!:tu:

used to run then too :w2:
https://www.dieselbombers.com/member...ge-cummins.jpg just watch that the rims can take a little bump so they don`t end up like this :ouch: http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...otties/013.jpg damn I miss that truck:cry: |
Thanks for all the input guys, I did get them, for what I believe to be a good price. They are not new, but I think I should be able to get about another 10-15K miles out of them. Probably be awhile till I get pics of them, but I do need to get some pics of the truck up regardless.

I tried a 315 on a H2 wheel on my 94. It cleared moving the truck around the drive and garage without rubbing. A friends 94 has run 35x12.5-16.5 since just after he bought the truck new without any leveling kit or lift.
