Reason for the plate on the shock tower.... just to try something different and make a little more room under the hood:ok1:

Old top plate on left and new one on right.... new one is larger and milled radius for the 3/4" U bolts

Blocks shaved to 1.750" with a new hole drilled in the bottom to allow for the alignment pin and installed :choochoo:

Overall Im exceptionally happy with it, the ride is the best the truck has ever been, Nice and smooth, no bumps. Im really glad I did this :U:

Im about 1.500" - 1.750" roughly lowered. Im hoping it will be around 2.000" if it settles down. BUT then again I also think I want to go another inch or two lower but Ill just wait and see. Only thing with that is I would have to buy new coils OR cut the old ones... and I dont want to really cut a coil.

The back end is 2.250" taller than the front

i wouldnt cut the old ones, doesnt that cause the springs to be real uh springy or spongy feeling?? Or is that heating them to make them squish??:humm:
