Tire question
I have a 07 ram got a couple quotes on tires today. I was just wondering if 285s would fit on stock suspension. Also which do you think i should go with 285/70/17 with the Discoverer ATR for 796 set of four. Or the toyo open county AT for about 960. Both these tire prices are mounted and balanced.

285's will fit with no problem. As long as the tires are at least a D range either will be fine. I can't comment on the miles you'll get outa either though.....

they will on stock rims-the toyos will last longer & be quieter on the road
|
bridgestone duelers theyre the same price as the toyos and will last at least 60000 ive got 72000 on mine so far and still got some life left and theyre a load range e so you can tow away

I put 285 BFG MT K2's on mine, a buddie of mine went with 305's we both went with the front leveling kits, don't really need em, Just liked the way it looks.

Cooper makes a great tire, should be pretty quiet and last OK. I wouldn't be afraid to go with either.

How about some pics of them 285 Km2's.

I run 285's on my stock 07 and they fit fine, don't rub and look sharp too.
