In that run, I'm establishing a baseline with the trans shifting fully automatically. I'm thinking I need to raise the overall shift-points. A later run with shifting manually from second to third (and letting second wind-up a little more), brought the ET down to a 7.99 with a 1.73 60'. (To muddy that results is the fact the quicker run started at about 2200rpm vs 1900rpm in the first :( ).

Gotcha. Second one looked faster. What psi are you comeong off the line at?

I'm trying to hold at least 20ish as the lights come down. Closer to and no more than 25. Any more and I'm having issues of pushing through the brakes.

I would agree with the accusation that, toward GO, the throttle may be on it's way to the floor before the brakes come up occasionally.

While I stage shallow, I try to leave around half-way through the third light. This usually results in around a .15 reaction time.

I launch in 4wd at 15 psi, I disengage it in 3rd but I don't think it really comes out.

Youtube search "powerstrokeracer snow white vs ss impala" to see a perfect launch. I'd post the vid or link but I'm on my phone, too much effort.

David Lott is behind the wheel, his truck.

strange, no matter how fast any other truck is, no matter the hp or torque, no matter time, no other truck is known as much as and talked about as SW is. No one cares about a Dodge, no one cares about an obd, yet everyone knows of SW and everyone wants to see her back.

Just saying. Who cares about Schnied? Impressive no doubt, but within fractions of a second forgettable. I'm sorry, who was I just talking about...? :) <wink>

eh...

I guess it's just me, but I'm not impressed with Schneid Diesel. I find them inadequate, weak, a fail at their overly anxious attempt to beat SW. What? it took three times the hp to achieve a simple few seconds over her? Come on now, that's all you got?

Weak. and their truck is ugly.

Never heard of SW.

I usually hold rpms around 2100 and leave halfway through the third yellow. 4x4 won't disengage under power, but I usually wait until I'm under 50 before I try.
