Lets see your first gun
Ladies and Gents, Lets show off our first gun. I know to me and my family the first gun is one with more sentimental value than even our first dog. Its frowned upon to even think of selling your first gun.
Ill get it started, a Savage Arms model 62, .22 LR. the scope was a RECENT addition(earlier today). Its nothing fancy, but has killed man a squirrel and other little varmints thru the years. |
First that was all mine? Mossberg 500. Still got it and it will never go away.
|
well apparently I cant upload pictures that were taken with my phone, i will get a pic up here shortly, just have to drag the camera out
|
First gun I own was a kassnar arms m1600 Kassnar Arms M-116

this is an 80's model and the only thing i've had to replace is the firing pin after having, no lie, probably more than 100,000 rounds through it - probably way more. i was just looking for some more banna clips and see that marlin still makes them. they're great little guns.

My first was actually 2. A 1984-ish Marlin Model 60 .22 and a 1965-ish Remington 870 Wingmaster.
No pic of the .22 when I got it but it was just the same as the first pic except no scope and it was blued. Then I painted it camo this last summer. The 870 I found under the seat of my dad's 73 F350 and he didn't even remember he had it. It had no buttstock on it when I found it and the original wood foregrip. I picked up the Blackhawk Knoxx stock for it because I thought it would be cool. I like shooting my buddys guns with the factory stock better. I'll be switching it out as soon as I sell it. I've been wanting to build it for more of a tactical/home defense role rather than a hunting gun. Attachment 41974 Attachment 41975 ---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Hope she didn't pull the trigger with her body position like that though. :humm: Gonna fall in the pond like that. :scare2: |
I took this pic about a minute before she was actually ready to shoot, I had to put my phone down to ready her up and pull the cord to throw the skeet. She actually impressed me and hit about 8 out of 15 with me ol 12 gauge
|
Mine is a Savage Model 6D 22 long rifle. One hell of a gun killed many birds, squirrels, and rabbits with her. I will get a pic up later.
