Then go back and re read your posts including what words you capitalize & how you put your words together with or without grammar/punctuation and sentence structure.

Oh and do you see how you had to get a jab in about my ego & insecure man-hood?

You once again made my point.

Now please answer my question about what firearm training/schools you have attended where you learned so much about firearms.

Here is your first post, you didn't mention what gun you would pick, BUT you did mention, that diesel bombers members, won't last 5 minutes once the fur starts flying, were you trying to start do-do ????

Got to love it, you ignore the question and look for something to divert the attention from you to me, you must be a democrat :pca1::pca1:

Nope did not mention in that post what I would pick, but if you read a couple more of my posts you will know what I would take and why.

Oh and by the way, what professional training have you had when it comes to weapons? I am to assume from your posts that you have attended all kinds of schools & training to keep you alive for more than 5 min if the poo hits the fan in your city.

gunman41mag 11-24-2008 12:49 PM

Now I been keeping nice, BUT you called me a DEMOCRAT, NOW you sir have insulted me, I find that comment HIGHLY offensive !!!!:moon:

Then stop acting like a liberal obama supporting democrat and answer the question ya keep refusing to answer.

Big_Johnson 11-24-2008 01:53 PM

wow. this is getting way outta hand.
Ramprat, you sounded like an asshole when you first posted on here saying people wouldn't last 5 minutes and were just a bunch of coumputer warriors.
Gunman41mag, you do sound like you are trying to prove that you are better than everyone, and it does sound like you are talking down to Ramprat.

BUT! Now you both just sound like a couple of assholes that are fighting just to fight.
If you have noticed no one else has posted on this thread for awhile except ya'll two. The fight is stupid and pointless and makes you both sound like egotistical assholes.
Just drop the whole thing it's gotten ridiculous.:booo:

Woody35 11-24-2008 02:01 PM

:dbdrama: now shut up both of you

SmokinPiney 11-24-2008 05:25 PM

Gotta agree with ya on this one Ramprat.

Gunman, I mentioned the gun i would pick and all you did was tell me why my choice was not up to par. Along with just about every other post in here, you basically let everyone ( and i mean everyone ) know why they're choice wasn't what you would pick.

Next time your gonna make a poll/post like this, ya might as well title it as follows.

"Pick one gun that you'd use for EVERYTHING and i'll tell you why i wouldn't" :":

Mr. Miyagi 11-24-2008 06:40 PM

Ya'll realize while you're arguing like a bunch of hens that the enemy has gotten past your perimeter and has made off with your booty, right?

They didn't even need to fire a shot with you clowns preoccupied with playing rounds of who sucks more.....

:tttt:

C'mon now, let's have a beer and get back on topic, which IIRC is ya'll are wrong and my shotgun idea is still the best. lol j/k

dieseldude03 11-24-2008 06:48 PM

I can see Gunman's intent with this thread. He was not trying to be an ass by picking apart everyone's choice of single weapon. Just his way of pointing out there is no "perfect weapon" for all scenarios. Where he strayed from his goal, was when he made his own personnel choice in firearm and got defensive when people started picking it apart. Perhaps if he had let his choice of the M1A remain anonymous, this thread would have went a little smoother for him in the end.:humm:

A great choice, be sure you have a couple extra o-rings on hand.

Yep, you are correct, I was wrong in not saying exactly who I was talking about in that post as I was trying to keep it generic instead of looking like a personal attack, but my post ended up looking like I was sweeping a broad brush against everybody who posted in the thread when that was not my intent at all & for that I am sorry.

Don't know what it was/is about some of gunman41mag's posts, but unfortunately he comes across to me as the know it all guy sitting in the gunshop blabbering about stuff he's read & dreamed about and has never seen/done and thus why I keep asking him about his background/training so his posts and opinions will carry more weight with me as I've learned from others on this site & am sure gunman41mag has some good knowledge to pass along.

So, how about a "what's the best pistol" thread next :humm::humm::w2::w2::pals:

I find myself punching the air and shouting "YES" like a manical version of one of those beautiful women in the old Herbal Essences shampoo commercials.

Brilliant.

And don't make fun of Gunman's writing. He's the ee cummings of Diesel Bombers.

And making fun of some dude's writing on the Internet has to be the absolute lamest thing on the planet. Lamer than Captain Planet suffocating after intentionally huffing CFC-laced spray paint in order to avoid starving to death in the middle of a Las Vegas buffet line. Just lame.

The best pistol is the one that is a shotgun or assault rifle.

If I could only have one gun, it'd be a very valuable one that I could sell for enough money to be smuggled into Switzerland.

gunman41mag 11-26-2008 02:24 AM

The morale of the story was, That NO one gun is going to do it all, any choice is flawed, that's why we need more than one gun.:yeah::ok1:
