Well, I haven't posted any pics of my truck in awhile, and a little bit of work has been done to it since then. Took advantage of some of the free time I had during spring break and got 'er cleaned up good :tu:

cant really tell. is that truck blue:jump:

Powdercoating is an eventual goal, but I don't think it looks to bad for just a couple cans of blue paint and some clearcoat.

12" Kicker L7 and Kicker 750.1 to handle SPL duties. This part of the sound system takes care of the low end, running from about 20hz to 80hz.

2-12" Kicker Comp's and a Profile Baja Series 1000w amp to handle SQ duties. This takes care of the higher end of the bass from about 50hz to 200hz.

i know what you mean, i'm in the same boat. they shouldn't be allowed to make 2wd 3/4+ ton trucks

Believe me the thought has crossed my mind, it would definitely help launching at the track. I was considering a Dana 60 up front and a Sterling 10.25 in the back, but I've got other things I want to work on right now, and I want to keep the truck a half ton. When the power starts getting added on, I imagine the 8.8 will get swapped for a beefed up 9" with either a good limited slip or an air locker, and I'll have a set of drag radials to swap on for the track.

What kinda wheels are those?

The wheels are Pacer 164P 16x8's and the tires are Nexen 245/75/16 10 ply, kind of an agressive highway tread. I originally had some black/chrome wheels on the way, but the order fell through (company tried to scam me :nope:), so I got these instead. They're a pretty simple design, but with as much chrome as the truck has stock, I really like the look of the straight polished aluminum wheels :yeah:

Yeah I know I'm glad we don't have a lot of snow and ice here, keeps the salt off of the roads

what kind of mileage do you get I am thinking of doing the same swap to my bronco

DUDE!! I need to know what tranny you stuck with, original Ford 5 or NV4500? I'm planning on doin a swap to my 95 150 soon but need some thought on trannies.

Im going to take a shot in the dark and guess your favorite color is blue. Truck looks great :rocking:

looking at the shifter and it's location, i am going to say the nv4500. fords shifter is straight and comes out closer to the dash.

I average about 21mpg with a 75 city/25 hwy mix. Best I have seen on a whole tank of highway driving is 29mpg, but I know it can do better with some more tweaking.

Its an NV4500, I don't think there's any way in the world the Mazda M5OD would have held up to the Cummins lol If you need some info PM me, I've given out lots of info to guys about the swap over the past couple of years.

Its a 12v NV4500 too, you can tell because the 12v versions had the crooked shifter while the shifters on the NV4500's behind VP trucks were straight.
