Razor blade and windex for the tint and rubbing alcohol for the glue.

Go to the hardware store and get a decal erasor for your drill. Thats what I use and it works great. Lots better than messing with a razor, I have a habit of trying to cut off fingures.

A black trash bag lay in on your truck dash on a hot day and go out in a few hours in will peel right off
|
Use "Tuff Stuff" upholstery cleaner!
The foam "clings" to the glass, and the thing has "ammonia", which helps dissolve the old tint's glue. Tuff Stuff + razor blade :) |
I've heard that ammonia is really good at taking it off, but you have to be careful useing it. From what I've heard, you spray it on put a bag over it on a hot day, let it sit for an hour or so and it will come off with ease. :humm:

1. Spray the tint with "simple green" on a sunny day
2. Using masking tape or painters tape, tape black bag behind it and let it bake off 3 Have a few:c::c::c::c::c: 4. After it sits for a few hours while its still hot take bag off and razor the tint off, tint will split from window like butter :jump::jump::jump: Be sure you clean window really well before re tinting the window |
When you put your new tint on, don't clean the windows with anything that has ammonia in it. That's what turns them purple over time.

i used a gasket scraper and a box of brand new razor blades. came off real easy.
