Not all diesel handles are green. I wish green was an industry standard but it isn't. Some of the stations around here have all green handles. Gas and diesel.

BP fuel stations are the opposite, black for diesel and green for gas, so watch out.

but back on topic. guys

thats the reason i had to drive 4 hrs to rescue my buddys dads truck in ney york. put the green nozzle in his 7.3 powerstroke. drove till it couldnt move the camper anymore. i drove up there with a backup truck on my trailer, swaped trucks and got his home. drove it into the garage, popping and sputtering. opened fuel filter and smalled the gas. drained tank. filled with fuel and new filter. fired her up and she ran like nothing happened. still running today. no issues.

if u cant tell which one is which by the smell then probably shouldnt have an oil burner

I think if you take a min to look at what your putting in your truck you wont have a problem, most places now you have to push a button to get fuel so if you cant read then dont buy a diesel:U:

I'm gonna post some pics of a set of exhaust rockers and pivots that I just took off a CR truck. The customer had been warned over and over again, that with hard starts it's crucial that he watch the oil level and check for fuel in the oil. Now he swears there was never fuel in the oil, but for a truck with 60,000 miles, I'm not sure how this much damage occured. With that said, you CR guys keep a watch on your oil! This injector repair is now a pretty major repair. We're not sure what else has been damaged, and he only wants the rockers fixed.

To give an idea of what A repair like this runs:

$76.00 x 6 Exhaust Rockers
$75.00 x 6 Intake Rockers
$22.50 x 12 Pivots
$200.00 x 6 Injector Repair
$55.00 x 5 Labor
$20.00 Disposal and Shop Parts

So without tax this customer has taken a $1500.00 and in a matter of 30 Miles took the bill from $1500.00 to a $2600 + Job. Please keep a close eye on your oil! There's some test strip available that show if there's fuel dilution and the condition of the oil. They've been used for years with great success! We sell em for $6.50 a peice or 6 for $40.00. You can get them just about anywhere, its cheap security for a CR truck!
