you can use that product or i like to use a product called Goo Gone works well on paint. Someone thought it would be funny if they duct taped my truck one day needless to say when i was done you couldnt tell either way what happened

I have used Aceatone I believe thats how you spell it. Old lady has it for her nails it works good just get off the most you can then take a rag and put that on and use it.

Acetone can be used if you chase it with a wet rag. If left on the paint and not washed off quickly, it will make the paint soft, and damage it. Same goes for thinner, and mineral spirits.
For removing decals, I've had good luck with using either a heat gun or hairdryer to warm them up and soften the adhesive, then once you get it peeled off, use WD-40 on a soft cloth to get the residual adhesive off. Once all that's done, it's a good idea to apply a light polish and wax where the decals were, and if need be wash and wax the whole truck.

I had a company truck that was relabeled 3 times in 2 years due to company buy outs and I had to take off the old decals each time and this is by far the best method I have used. The hair dryer works great at getting them loosened up and they peel right off. :ok1:

I agree. Just dont hold the heat gun to close or in one spot for to long.

Find one of these.

Item Detail

Load it into a cordless drill and go to it. No chemicals, no scraping, no paint or clearcoat damage. Just wipe the area with a wax when done.

It'll be easier the warmer they are.
