goo gone, alcohol, wd 40. all work well, but you may have some paint fade issues???

GOO GONE & WD40 is what I've used in the past, I know WD40 will not harm the paint.

I've used WD-40 too, followed by a light polish and wax.

I've always used a heat gun when removing decals and never had a problem.If you heat it up just right,then start peeling the decal off the glue will come right off with the stickers or decals.I used to rermove decals sometimes on 53' trailers at my last job.

i use strong fishing line to remove the badges. Then a 3m eraser wheel to remove the glue. Then buff the rest out because the paint will be a different color.;

3M White Wheel

I used to work for a major chassis upfitter: FORD, DODGE and CHEVROLET, in the paint shop we used a 3M product called the white wheel. After heating up and peeling the decal, the white wheel was chucked into a drill and at LOW speed the remaining adhesive was removed with minimal elbow grease. These wheels also worked great at removing the double stick adhesive used to attach trim and mouldings.
