I'm not sure what's worse, the title of your thread or how fast I clicked on it. :tttt:

T&A would have been nice.....but I guess I can make a relative comment...How do you like it over stock performance?! Have been putting off a programmer for the longest.

 - Sorry about my little attempt at some humor! - It did get your attention though! :hellox:

This is my first Diesel rig so these impressions are from a total newb to the diesel performance world. That said, I have a mechanical background as well as training in electronics and computers with practical experience in all of the mentioned fields. If your not comfortable in all of these areas, pay a shop to do the install. One area that had me really nervous was flashing the unit to current firmware version from the Edge web site. For some reason it took almost an hour to download/flash the unit, I kept thinking it was locked up and I'd end up with a dead truck! It finally completed without error (phew).

I bought this truck to tow my race car with (35' enclosed trailer, 3000 lb car plus a bunch of tools and spare parts) - so this will be biased a bit towards towing!

I really like the CTS - having all of your gauges available in such a compact device is a definite plus. I also bought an EAS kit and a 0-30psi sensor to monitor lift pump pressure. Once installed, it all works seamlessly. The CTS mounting solutions however suck, they place the unit right in a spot that creates a huge blind spot around the drivers side pillar. I built a mounting solution that resolved that issue, I posted about it here: https://www.dieselbombers.com/5-9-li...ng-option.html

As for the Power levels, there is a definite seat-of-the pants difference when increasing through the higher power levels. Especially noticeable on level 5. :tu:

BUT

When towing - even on the Tow setting (POWER LEVEL 2) it over fuels just a bit so that on extended uphill pulls (think westbound I90 at Vantage), egts get a bit out of control and I will have to let out. Even so, I can still make the top at 59-60(ish)mph

I think the next mod I do will be more air, not exactly sure what that will be I've been researching setups and am thinking a 62/64mm might get me back into the sweet spot! A stocker over s475 compound setup is also looking pretty nice - but total overkill for what I use the truck for.

The Edge w/Attitude and CTS get an all around thumbs up from me, just remember, this is the only experience I have with a diesel programmer, so not a lot to compare against.
