the differen't colors are diff. ratings, and we used them in tire shops quite often. it cuts back on the down time, and there is no adjustment's for the "green guys" to screw up. you don't really have to use one for bigger trucks, or lug's.

Well its been covered they just limit the force. Youll notice the different thicknesses of them as well. They only work with impact guns and at work we run the CP Impacts on level 2 with them.

However they arent very accurate so every vehicle that leaves still gets the wheels torqued then retorqued at 100 miles which is at the customers discretion.

The sticks are also handy for putting on GM hubcaps.

On Big rigs you still HAVE to HAVE to HAVE to torque the wheels and torque them right. Too many people gob on neversieze which is a huge no no. Also many people forget the oil hub pilots yet oil stud pilots. Ass backwards stud pilots are dry torque hubs are with a couple drops of 30w. Then theres the new guys who cant figure out stud pilots on the drivers side :argh:. And the guys who go to the ER who dont know how to deal with Dayton wheels.

Using an impact excessively on a big rig wheel will ruin the stud, but you wont know till it breaks later on down the road because it has been stretched.

I like chocolate jello pudding snacks.
Oh, what was the topic?
Pry bars, torque bars, or torque wrenches?
