is it solid plate with holes drilled or did you cut out a design. did you use the stock mounting points for it. sorry alot of questions cant really see pics at work and forget to look when i am off work. has anyone put theres together with a 110 v welder or know if the hot max 175 amp or equal to it welder. on a tight budget but didnt wanna buy the little craftsman or knock off brands of the 110 v

I used 1/4" plate as well.
Cardboard and duct tape are your friends... build a full mock up bumper out of cardboard then use those pieces for templates. Unless you're into AutoCAD and machining that's the easiest way. |
yea did that class in school liked it but dont have the software for it looks like ill be doing cardboard and maybe masking tape little cheaper then duct tape. do you think the 175 amp would be plenty to weld i have welding experience worked for toro and walker stainless so know how to weld just a little rusty

I can't help you there.. I can weld too and I know our welder kicks out over 200 amps, we rarely go there and it does just fine. If it's something I rely on I take it to my buddy that went through welding school, he knows a lot better than i do and can make one beautiful bead.
