My 1st Diesel
:hellox:I've wanted a diesel truck since I was about 4 years and its definitely time. I've put it off long enough. I was always brought up a Ford guy but the Cummins also has my eye. I'm currently looking for a 1999-2002 Ford or Dodge, with manual and 4wd a must. Any suggestions? And one quick question... does it make much difference on MPG's between a dually and a regular 4 wheel truck? Thanks for any and all help!

Either a ford or a dodge would be a good one in those years.
What do you need the dually for? Unless you just really need it, its less mileage and two more tires to buy. |
there both great trucks. dualies are for the serious hauler. consider this option carefully.
see if you can take each for a test drive and compare the two |
i think i'm decided against the dually idea. i want a diesel truckto pull a big toy hauler with ease. can a f250/dodge 2500 diesel can pull a large rv easily? thats my primary goal. im afraid having a dually for everyday driving would be a bit over the top but wold be kick ass for hauling
