well i couldnt get hired no where for 10 or up. so i took a job at ranger boats workin on there Argosy's. i started out at 8.50. i was unemployed for a month so i just told them that i needed put somewhere. luckily they got a psoition in there truck shop. but i was treated like a kid since i was only 19 almost 20. they brought in 3 different guys after i started there and each one had more respect and was given more money and beter jobs. non had ever worked on a diesel in there life but was given a better chance since they were older. then i got pulled out of the shop last october. got a dollar raise just to drive a tractor. im better off now. more money, easier work.

it was ok. if you are 100% dedicated to it you will love it. that means no wife, kids, girlfriends, or anything else that takes away free time. when i signed up they told me that it was all in class work, nothing outside of calss, 75% was in shop training. had a 24/7 gym with all new equipment. the gym was closed from 9 pm till well you had to read chapters upon chapters out side of class if ou wanted to get all A's unless you are just real smart. the in the shop training was about 40% of class. if i had the cahnce to go back and do it againi probably would but would change a lot of stuff.
as far as relocating, i am a single father and only help i have is from my parents. so i wouldnt beable to move for quit some time but thanks for the offer.
    any how,hope i was a help
    Eddie

p.s. it has changed since i was there buy the way.
