A rail plug removes the rail relief valve which has a tendency to relieve to early and drop the fuel pressure in the rail, on modified trucks. The rail is located immediatly behind the intake horn where it goes into the head, the rail has six stailess steel fuel lines comming out of it going to the injectors plus one in from pump and one out the side from near the rail relief "plug". The plug is located on the front end of the rail, and very nearly touches the intake horn. There are two options for dealing with it releiving early, plug it or shim it. I have the plug and have had zero ploblems, the shim requires the stock relief plug to be taken apart and two small washers added. the added washers have the effect of increasing the spring tension so it relieves at a high pressure. There are some good videos on youtube about how to do the shim. I would HIGHLY suggest watching one if you plan on doing it as it is spring loaded with TINI-TINY parts. Any ? gimme a shout.

thanks. it works well, i have a expanded metal floor in it about an 1'' off the pipe. i put my tire chains in it froze solid with ice and mud and they thaw out and dry up up nice. also they are fairly warm so you can put them on with out gloves.

it would be nice when its raining and i'd have a clean work bench where i could tear things apart to repair or rebuild instead of kneeling on the ground and using the a track for a work bench. i just wouldn't know how to act if i had a nice setup like you got
