You can do this in the fields.

And when you are on the streets you can just bolt on this.

I have been searching for the MBRP 07-08 turbo back exhaust and haven't found one. I just got off the phone with Jeff at MBRP and they are not currently producing a DPF delete system as we speak. He did say that the 07 and earlier classic style fits with just a hanger modification at the transmission, but cannot recomend that you use this system (everyone knows this works and has been done a hundred times).

He said that the EPA is basically not even letting "race only" or "off road use only" be used in the marketing of such a product so their legal department is looking into how they can market a system to those that would like a DPF delete without getting into trouble...

I just wonder when they are going to start levying fines on anyone who sells emission deleting items to the general public..? This is sounding like the 70's all over again.

On another note, has anyone noticed that PPE has stopped selling EGR blocker plates on their site? MBRP must not be the only feeling the pressure.

It is not a delete system but the part number for the LMM MBRP is S6030AL.

# 5" Mandrel bent tubing for maximum flow
# Lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures
# More Pulling Power
# Utilizes OEM Hangers
# Increased Horsepower and Torque
# Easy Bolt-on Kits, "Everything you need"

Filter Back: A Different Kind of 5"

With the advanced technology built into the new generation of Chev/GMC diesel pick-up, a new kind of performance exhaust was needed. MBRPinc has met that challenge with its filter back exhaust systems for the new LMM Duramax. The LMM's state of the art emissions control system is built around its diesel particulate filter (DPF), which is designed to dramatically reduce the diesel soot escaping into the environment.

Unfortunately, removal of the DPF is not an option.
Instead, we have been able to take advantage of the noise attenuation effect of the DPF and dispensed with the stock muffler entirely. We have also been able to dramatically reduce the bend degree angles over the stock exhaust for a faster flowing exhaust and cleaner operating engine.

Then we increased the exhaust volume with a five inch diameter pipe and have gained back some of that classic diesel sound. Add to that some classic MBRPinc styling and you have an exhaust system that is bound to attract attention.

Which exhaust is the best bet then if I want to remove the DPF anyways? RBP MagnaFlow or MBRP? Anyone had problems with any of these? thanks

I am a big fan for the MBRP myself but they are all good. Check out our vendor section and our price quote area. These people will take great care of you.

If it helps any, yes any Duramax exhaust will fit. However if you lose the DPF it will throw codes. I literally took the 4" off my 05 and put it on the 08. No cutting involved. I did get a Quad II programmer to handle the computer.
