I have been looking into getting some. Seems the OEM color is usually 4100K to 4300K so you don't want to go much higher in color (Doing so turns the light out put from white toward the blue end of the spectrum. I'm not saying they don't look cool - I really like blue usually! But just going from say 4300K to about 6000K you will loose about 30% of the light output. You can loose enough lumens or light output to actually loose ground in switching to HID as you go higher up the spectrum. It seems that the OEMs use 4100K or so because it has the best light output. They also stick with 35 watt systems because the higher wattages put out too much heat.)

I found a company called DDM Tuning that has HID kits for a cheap price. They come with a lifetime warranty. I have heard at least one guy post in another thread that he has had them for a while and likes them. My boy and I are about to order some and give them a try. I think we will get 35W in about 4500K . . . . We'll let you know how it turns out. :pca1:
