Is it legal in PA to have a gun mounted on a gun rack in the back window of your truck?

I never heard of it being illegal. you could call your local PSP, or maybe the game commission. I don't know why it would be illegal ; you can have the back window totally blacked, providing you have outside mirrors on both sides. If I run into one of my trooper friends I'll try to remember to ask. Sorry I can't be more help about this yet. In time we'll get it figured out.

According to a local PSP Trooper; "there is absolutely nothing wrong with a gun rack in the back window, providing the vehicle is legal with 2 outside mirrors, and the guns the rack is carrying are unloaded". Hope this helps. One other caution is watch where you park with guns in a vehicle. It wouldn't take much to bust the glass and no longer have a gun in the window. Especially since many long guns are not registered same as hand guns; it would make them easy targets. IMO.
