Anybody familiar with RV's, specifically generators?

I'm working on a 1986 30' Suncrest RV. I'm trying to figure out why the generator keeps shutting down every 20-30 minutes. It restarts but it would be handy if the thing would just keep running.

How much fuel is in the RV tank? The generator fuel pickup is higher than the engine pickup. That's so you don't run out of fuel when camping and get stranded. Just a thought.

I just learned that as well, but it still has 1/2 tank of fuel. It eventually gets to the point that it wont start back up. I verified it's getting gas and has spark, but it will just crank and not fire.
