Hey guys, we were able to get a local trucking company to do testing on thier problematic cummins isx and compare thier delo oil to our conoco Guardol. The mechanic stated at a short service (10k) the truck used 1.5 gallons of oil, and on a full service ( 21k) it used a total of 3.5 GALLONS!. WOW. So we give him a free oil change and on the short service with our oil the truck used 1.5 QUARTS and on a full service (21k) it use a whopping 3 QUARTS! I have attached thier latest oil sample test sheet. They sent a sample to "thier" test facility and we sent one to "our" test facility, which both said the same. You will notice the DECREASED soot amount and Total Base went into the green. Not trying to bash Chevron DELO but here is the proof. Keep in mind this is just 1 oil change just think what it will look like in another few changes. Also the first sample come back with 0 for a titanium count but 86 on the second. Proof that additives are NOT a liquid, and actually a mass. The titanium is new on the market and makes up for the zinc and phosphorus that the govt' removed. It aids in adding a barrier between moving parts.

It's too bad attachments can't be used here. I would like to see the OA sheet! This does sound good. I'll admit I'm a Delo fan, but this does make a guy think (And wonder)! Hmm..... Keep this kind of info coming!

the bummer thing is the huge increase in potassium can come from a little antifreeze..But did you noitice the wear metals? The huge DECREASE in Iron?

I forgot to state that the "base" number means the quality of the oil compared to new. The higher the number the better.
