Hey all. I want to replace my 21cm turbine housing, but I'm getting a little confused by the choices. I have heard the 16cm are still to laggy, I found a non-wastegated 12cm short version that will bolt right in place of my 21...which sounds like the ticket. I simply cant afford the wastegated ones, they are too expensive. So what do you think about the n/w 12? Am I going to have problems with that?

Is your truck bone stock?
a 16non W/G is great on an auto, and a little laggy on a manual. ive ran 12 & 14 W/G housings on my manual, the 14 kept the EGTs down and spooled pretty quick. The 12 spooled fast but had to back off the throttle when towing. I would stay clear from the 12 non W/G unless you just play and dont tow anything
Im currently running a 12 W/G housing s300 turbo with larger injectors and the pump turned up & the temps are manageable with a 4" exhaust and a BHAF.
also i have a 12 W/G housing if your interested.

so far my truck is stock, except for a 366 spring and a denny t fuel pin. I haven't turned up the pump yet, but I will. I also plan on getting some injectors when finances allow. Mostly I just off road, hunting. I don't haul much. How much do you need for the w/g 12?
