yea, I had heard that the DRW will be a better ride when towing, and we have about 8k lb's to tow with our TT, and will want to step up to a 5th wheel in the next 2-3 years, probaly 10-12k lb's.

BTW, thanks 03 Powerstroke, you are always very helpful

Anyone else? Am I crazy for going DRW

The DRW will get slightly worse fuel economy unladen, though not likely to a significant degree. A lot will depend on your driving style and modifications performed. :tu:

It will be an 09 GMC 3500 CC DRW bone stock, no mods (want to keep warranty), I will drive about 60-65 on my DD and tow at about 60. No need to hurry. I want this thing to get maximum MPG's.
