External dimensions Comparison?
 

Hey guys,

I am wondering if anyone knows how the external dimensions compare between the 6.2 GM and the 6.9/7.3 IDI Fords? Any dimensions and weights would be awesome!

I am looking to drop something in the 77 Econoline. I am leaning toward the 6.2, since I already have 2 of them in other rigs, BUT, if the dimensions are a better fit with the 6.9/7.3...I am open to looking that way. I have had a couple of smooth running 6.9's in the past...and have nothing against them.

The van is a camper/partial conversion. Just want to pull the 351W out of it (massive fuel system problems...and NO BALLS) and swap in something that will be alot better on fuel, with enough power to roll down the road with 3 people and a 4 horse trailer a couple times a year in the summer.
