the early 03 7.3's seem to be decent to average :D....but yeah the new trucks with 6.4 are finally starting to get figured out aint doing to bad...

I still say the 7.3 were by far the best for longevity. May not be powerhouses but dependable.

This is the truth. 6.0 just has too many issues to take care of to make them last. |
7.3's were the best engines. for best overall I would say the 08-10 6.4's. they had a few problems, but were nice trucks that could make huge power and had a solid tranny behind them.

6.4, but repair costs are insane.
Other than that I'd say a 2003 7.3 with a manual trans. Too bad they didn't offer the 5R110 with the 7.3... ---AutoMerged DoublePost---
