I simply asked a few questions, that were mostly answered. Thanks for that. If this guy was a hammerhead I would of said that in my origional post, please don't speculate things right off the batt. Some people do actually buy these trucks to work everyday. So back to the original question, if it were me, i would put a cummins back in it and save alot of money, do whatever you want with the tranny but if its still strong, i wouldn't worry about it. |
Just an update;
He found an entire 6.0 replacement engine assembly for $7000 (I think from a wrecked truck), so it's going back to origional. He'll be ditching the truck once it's back on the road for a while and makes sure he won't be selling someone a problem. Thanks, for everyone's help. |
Got to give him credit for driving it awhile to make sure bugs are worked out, saving the next person a huge headache.:c:
