early 99 hubs?????
ok guys i have a early 99 7.3 4x4 on the floor and its a dually and i need new hubs so i seen on here a lot of the guys like warn hubs so i got a set but found out they would not fit my dually any ideas or other suggestions for good front hubs? thanks guys:c:

Can't comment on the dually, but I'm running some Super Winch hubs on my E99 without issue. However, since replacing the cracked factory ones with them I've only put this rig in 4 wheel drive once to test the hubs. I really don't expect to use them much so I don't expect to the stress them that often (maybe a bad snow storm over pavement, no off roading) and went with the cheaper Super Winch hubs over other brands.

Why won't they fit? The dually has the same hub, it just has the spacer.

I know SW hubs are extremely axle/spline specific with no give for error. Call SW to get specific part number and then search for it.

the only thing i can think of, is that the early 99 has the D50 axle. i don't know what the differences are but that might be it.

From the order sheet of the hubs I purchased for my E99:
Superwinch 400439 Premium |
speaking of hubs. i just replaced my front rotors. when i lock the bubs in i have a good 3/4" play before the axle turns. is the spline on my hubs getting crappy on me?
