Does it need rebuilt? Whats leading you to think it needs it? Really depends on what you want to do with it, but anywhere from $3500 to $12000 for a motor... More then that if you want to go all out. |
well i want to chip it and put bigger injectors and i think it might be best to get it redone before i do all that
|
Do a compression check... More then likely if its not having any issues starting and little blowby its fine...
Compression check is cheaper then a rebuild... https://www.dieselbombers.com/ford-p...tml#post756619 |

---AutoMerged DoublePost--- ok thanks that helps its not really having any but do you think it be bad to chip it with that many miles on it |
Nope. Get a good TS based Chip and have some fun.
Gauges first however!!! |
what all should i gauge?
|
Exhaust temp, boost, and tranny temp if its an auto.
