No, not at all... I would never pay someone to put a chip in for me... You need to get the PCM out and open it up. Then you need to take a scotchbrite pad and clean the connections. You want to remove all the sticky crap. Once you think you have it all, Give it one more quick scrub. Only thing to keep in mind is you don't want to OVERclean them. Then install it.. There is actually a pretty good video of installing a chip on youtube... Might want to look for it...

Nope, just follow the install directions to a T and you will be fine.

The only time people have issues with them is when they install with the keys in the ignition.

I have installed 10-12 chips for people over the years, never once had an issue.

mine has 252000 got a 5 in exaust ts chip and cold air and does great jsut need gauges now i know i should have done them first lol . you will be pleased with a ts
