Pulled the valve covers off and found that the #2 injector is puking oil out of the deflector sheild while cranking over the motor and the rest are not which is leaving the hpop system open and not allowing the hpop system to build more than 100 psi in return will not allow the pcm to let the injectors do the intial fire. can I rebuild these injectors or only replace them? whats the cost for the special tools compared to buying a new injector?

Check e-bay... sometimes you can get a used set for about $200-$300 and then have some others to get modded when the HP bug bites! I do not mess with PSD injector internals... No thank you! Here is a video of what I was talking about on sunday... You can see the oil coming out of the bottom of the injector body... Thats all it takes to have a no start situation. |
